About the treatment
An implant replaces the tooth root with a titanium fixture that fuses with your bone over 3–6 months, then carries a permanent crown. Done properly it is a two-stage process — single-trip “immediate” solutions exist but suit only selected cases.
Aftercare
Discomfort after placement settles in days. The two-trip pattern is the honest standard for most cases: rushing the crown onto an unfused implant is the classic cause of failures.
